What We Do
At Lancaster Audiology Services we recommend that our patients receive a complete Audiological Evaluation as the initial step in determining the nature of their hearing problems. If you have had a comprehensive evaluation from an Audiologist in the prior six months we may find that this testing will be sufficient for planning your immediate care.
If you have not received a current audiological evaluation, we will be more than happy to schedule the evaluation with Dr. McPherson, our board certified Doctor of Audiology. Private health insurance can pay for the cost of the evaluation, but normally requires your medical doctor to request the testing by their prescription. If you have a HMO you may need to receive authorization prior to making an appointment with our office.
We provide extensive diagnostic testing for the medical community, and as part of our practice, specialize in Hearing Instrument Sales and Services. We strive towards providing the most appropriate Hearing Instruement(s) for our patients based on their individual needs and personal preferences.
Lancaster Audiology Services is open Monday through Friday, 8am until 5pm. We request that you call and make an appointment for evaluation and consultation. We are a provider under most health insurances including Medicare, Medical and most HMOs. Some insurance require an authorization prior to being seen for evaluation, this is particularly true of HMO medical groups. Just call our office and our experienced staff will be able to answer your questions.
